I enjoyed this short story. It has different take, it not the same story told a different way

A good story for an afternoon read. I usually steer clear of novellas because there is little chance for character development. However, this was not a bad read. Will check out Ms. Bruce's other works.
Kelly Ann Bruce is a good writer and I have read some of her books that I really enjoyed but this one was unimaginative. It was simple and ended as though she ran out of time to devote to it.
This was a short story. It took me an hour. I like arranged marriage stories, but didn't like this one. I don't like the whole rake to perfect husband idea, it takes time and healing and forgiveness to change so completely. The story had more of a lust then love theme and had many references to sexual behavior. It had a good beginning, but ended abruptly and really was too simple.
